GCW Trio take on Wales

Most of you this weekend will be going away on holiday, rolling your eggs down some hill or even binging on chocolate whilst watching 101 Dalmations. There are however three intrepid GCW players who will be working very hard for their country trying to defeat Wales in Glasgow.

Youngest of the three is Jen Tait who will make her debut for Scotland U16s this weekend on Friday evening. Jen has been developing strongly as a player this season with the 1sts and appears to be hitting form at the best possible time.

Fellow team mates Maris Cawthorn and Millie Skidmore are slightly more experienced having played under 18s last season. The challenge for these two is to continue their growth so they can be on the plane for games in Poland and the Czeck Republic where the Europeans are held. All three girls are reliable 1st team players and carry themselves confidently and quietly into all their training sessions and games. I am sure everyone will send their best wishes and if possible get along to cheer them on. The schedule of games is noted below for any who are bored of quiet and chocolate.

Good luck girls and enjoy the weekend and come home with some wins!
